Someone actually took videos of Melaka MBO! I thought I'm the one daring to take so many photos of MBO. Ish~~~ >.<

MBO membership privilege

MBO is relatively new compare to GSC and TGV. Since it's new, they need to promote more and etc. One of it which I like the most is this: GOLDEN TICKETS! For those who had applied the membership card, MBO will send to u the Golden Tickets for your birthday. I definitely love it to the max. The design is nice and it makes me feel important and I'm very delighted to receive it. Thanks MBO! haha

MBO Tickets

Here are some of the tickets of MBO. It's been a lont time since I went for a movie because of many assignments. XD Behind these tickets as you will see are the terms and conditions of MBO. Kinda strict but hey, piracy is bad right? haha. Oh ya, after you have top up your membership card, they will give a receipt which look like the tickets. LOL. I have no idea on why they want to use the ticket-quality-paper for the receipt.

For you who are not in Melaka and yet want to feel the thrill and experience at MBO, here are some of other MBO locations. MBO has 6 cineplex but i'll just show you the location of 4 MBO cineplex.

Ticket Kiosk Machine 2

Okie, I'm not so sure whether the card could use on normal line-up purchase but people usually use it on the ticket kiosk machine. here's the steps and pictures~~~


Here's two rooms with special services: The 1st one is the customer service center whereby you can apply your card. The 2nd one is where a ticket kiosk machines is located.







1.At the entrance to the second room, you will see this.

Put your card on it.

Wait the light to turn green and push the door open.




2.Ta Da~~ The Ticket Kiosk Machine~~

The machine has a sensitive touch screen which is "cool".









3.Slot your card into the specify holder.











4.The machine will trace your name and id. And then "click" your password.







5. Choose the day from Monday till Sunday








6. And then choose the specify movie you wanna watch~








7. After selecting the movie, choose the theater and time~








8. Now, select how many person is going for the movie.








9. In this screen, you are to select which seat you and your friends or family would like to sit at.

Green means available and red means taken~





10. After choosing the seat, on the right bottom of the screen is a confirmation icon.

Click on it and the machine will print your tickets out.
Do not remove your card till the tickets are printed out.




11. Hehehe, The TICKETSSS~~ Jom, let's go to the theater~~

Ticket Kiosk Machine

The only thing that MBO "win" against their competitors is their Ticker Kiosk Machine. You dun have to wait in line to buy a ticket. All u need is a membership card cost RM110. Rm10 for the card and RM100 for the credit. It's way worth it if u love to watch movie because with this card, u will save RM1 for every ticket. On next post I'll show the pictures and steps of the Ticket Kiosk Machine. As for this post, I'll give u a link on the ticket price. If you have the card, just minus RM1 for the price listed ^^

MBO Experience

After that link right, think you guys now may find it easier to check out the time and so on. But one thing MBO website lack is online reservation systems. GSC and TGV , both have online reservation system. I do hope in the near future MBO would be able to upgrade their services, online system. MBO also need to upgrade their sound system! I got some bad experience in MBO. Who doesn't? But cant blame them because they just started operate not long ago. Sometime the movie sound become so loud and then become so soft. I'm not sure if it's the film quality or their sound system. I do hope they do some improvement. Any feedback guys? But I do love their comfort seat ^^

Interior of MBO Melaka

Now I'm going to show to you the interior of MBO. Not bad actually but the place is kind of small if you wanna compare it with GSC at Dataran Pahlawan.

Not bad. Nice lighting and decor. Simple yet beautiful~

Here, the four TV screens will show what movie is showing and the seat availability.

Okie, last week I showed the pictures taken from afar right? So this time, let's go a little closer to MBO. But before that, for the latest movie : Street Fighter: The legend of Chun Li, for u guys who love street fighter, don't watch it. It's gonna spoil your childhood memory. Trust me!!! Cant believe the ending. Anyway, MBO is very very near MMU, strategy location because they think MMU students got alot of money! =_=''''
( MMU= Money Making University, means the students are rich to be able to pay up the fees!!!)

See, 2.5 km to the right is my "beloved" MMU. So near right?

MBO

MBO known as MCAT BOX OFFICE Sdn Bhd started in 2003. It arrived at Melaka Mall unnoticed in June 2007. After quite some time, students of MMU and the residents around Ayer Keroh start to pour in money to the cinema operator. Now, I'm one of the movie goers since the opening of MBO. Every week I'll be there. hehe.

MBO located at the MELAKA MALL which I think was owned by Parkson kua. Cuz the Parkson words is longer than MBO. Hahaha ^^ Let mi show u:

Myself & MBO

Hi, my name is Calvin, I'm from Terengganu. This is an edited part after some thoughts la.
Since I gotta cut short on my 1st post, so I'll make it up short and simple.

I love movies, I love TV, I love screen. Most of all, I love the "red carpet". That's why I choose MBO. MBO is near, save my time, my money and my petrol. LOLx.
